Look good feel better
For over 25 years our free confidence boosting Workshops have been held across the UK for women, men and young adults undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. Over 1,650 group sessions were held in 2019, led by trained volunteers providing a chance to meet others in a similar situation, as well as learning useful skills and techniques to manage the side-effects of cancer treatment.

Prostate Cancer UK
Prostate Cancer UK's top priority is funding research to stop prostate cancer killing men. We’re investing millions to find better treatments and better tests that can spot fast-growing cancers early, and could be used in a screening programme to save thousands of lives.

Melanoma Action and Support Scotland
Between April and September we get lots of days with a cold wind or breeze and a clear or lightly clouded sky. This can lead to “unexpected” sun burn. Be aware that precautions are needed every day when you are to be outside between 11am and 3pm. Our weather changes rapidly and we need to be ready with sun protection as rain protection. Be prepared. Do not depend upon the SPF in moisturisers or make-up as the application will be too thin and the SPF too low.
Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust
Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK’s leading cervical cancer charity. We are here for everyone who needs us, for as long as they need us but we won’t stop until the day that cervical cancer is no more. Cervical cancer can be devastating but we’re here to reduce the impact. We provide trustworthy information, campaign for change and provide support at every step.

#hellomynameis
Dr Kate Granger, was a great supporter of NCPC and Dying Matters and she spoke at a number of events. Dr Granger launched the #hellomynameis campaign. It’s not always easy to talk about death or dying but when we don’t talk about what matters it can increase feelings of isolation, loneliness and distress.
